All of the above - But, here at Perplex Crosswords we prefer to be known as a Crossword Compiler but that’s just us – yet if you’re across the pond in the great U S of A you may refer to us as a Crossword Constructor.
It makes no matter though, at the end of the day we design Crosswords (amongst other things) and we are very good at what we do. So if you need Crosswords, Wordsearches, Sudoku, Puzzles or a Quiz for your Magazine, Newspaper or classroom then you’re in the right place! So why do you need a Crossword Compiler then?

Crosswords- Probably the World’s favourite puzzle and a Crossword Compiler’s weapon of choice and they have been around since the 1820′s in a load of different forms. On top of being known as a Crossword Compiler and Constructor the designers of crosswords are also known as Cruciverbalists. We design all types of crosswords- Standard, Themed or Cryptic but if you have a special design need please just ask us, I’m sure we can help. I spent a lot of my time as a child doing wordsearches and I’m sure it’s where I picked up my love of all things to do with puzzles. All wordsearches are themed and we can handle any theme you can possibly imagine. We have a good variety of example wordsearches (both online and offline) in the wordsearch pages so please feel free to have a look round and, go on, have a play while your there.
Sudoku- The most modern of all puzzles and one that is incredibly popular nowadays. There’s alot of misconceptions about Sudoku as to who invented them but it’s widely regarded as coming into existence around 1979 but wasn’t actually published in a newspaper til 1984. We can design Sukoku Puzzles of any sizes and difficulty you need- as you will see by our Sudoku pages.
